Our Heroes and Theirs
Today I wondered (not the first time)what makes a murderer? Perhaps an explanation that may shed light on this is:

Israelis (indeed the western world as a whole) honor and name schools and streets after scholars, doctors, men and women who gave to the world through good deeds.

Palestinians appear to name and honor schools, camps, and streets after murderers, and suicide bombers. Those who take away life rather than honor and perserve it are the heroes.

Please don't whine about refugees, Jews were refugees but not murderers of children. Cambodians, Vietnamese, and countless others have been refugees, they don't make war on innocent civilians. Instead look to the leadership in the Arab (not just the Palestinians) world, leaders who honor and revere immans who teach hate; governments that publish textbooks, set up camps, and use the newspapers to promote hatred.

I have come to the conclusion that the question is not what causes hate, that is self-evident, the question is is how to change the culture?

2. ?
"Palestinians appear to name and honor schools, camps, and streets after murderers, and suicide bombers. Those who take away life rather than honor and perserve it are the heroes."____APPEAR is the word.

Scientists? Philosophers? Doctors? Scholars?

Well, how the hell could you be a scholar(much less go to school!) when the Israeli army is rolling down your street and dropping bombs?

3. Maybe they should blanket gaza with suicide bomb belts
and end the problem once and for all.

5. you got me
I always appreciate a sick joke. :-)

"Maybe they should blanket gaza with suicide bomb belts"

LOLLLLLL(i hate myself!)

Still, the fact remains that the Palestinians are an oppressed people. They do not have the same priviledges that their Israeli counterparts have.

Hell, Edward Said was an American(Palestnian-American he would say) who had the opportunity to be a scholar in Western academia(something that his Pal sis/bros didn't have).

6. Street Names
Interestingly enough, street names here in San Diego include Nimitz, MacAurther, Halsey, Kearny, Rosecrans, and Scott...all military heroes.

One nations war heroes is another nation's war criminals.
