6. For crying out loud!

Picky picky! Give them a minute! How long did it take to put them all there? They can't all leave on one day! Do you know what a traffic jam it would cause besides other logistical and security issues? The ceasefire was only announced on Sunday. Today is Tuesday. If they aren't all out yet, the vast majority are.

Edited for spelling...

8. Simple question: Are troops out. Accurate answer: No.
The road between now and then is indeed a long one.

9. By that formula
one can ask "is Hamas keeping to the truce" and the simple answer is "No". You know, 8 mortars, shooting at soldiers on the Israeli side of the fence, shooting at crossings allowing in humanitarian aid, way to go Hamas. Well done!

10. No formula necessary. Poster asked if the troops were out. Answer: No.

What's with you?

You know full well Isarel will find any pretext to keep the troops right where they are.

13. If you want to play semantics
look at your own comment. "Troops are have not left Gaza Strip". OK, maybe not ALL troops (though neither you nor I know for sure). But the majority have.

You ask "Simple question: Are troops out. Accurate answer: No.".
Wrong. Accurate answer: "Most if not all".

'Israeli troops come under fire in Gaza'
Tue, 20 Jan 2009 15:21:10 GMT

Palestinian fighters have opened fire on Israeli troops who remain in the Gaza Strip despite a Hamas ultimatum for their complete pull-out.

The two separate attacks on Tuesday took place near the Kissufim border crossing and in the center of the Strip, Israeli daily Haaretz reported.

Israel which launched a 22-day deadly war against the Gaza Strip, halted the offensive earlier Sunday, but has yet kept its forces in the impoverished region.

Earier on Monday, an unnamed Israeli official claimed that ground forces would leave Gaza before Obama is sworn in later on Tuesday.

Army spokeswoman Avital Liebovich, however, said Tuesday "For the moment, no one is talking about the total withdrawal of troops," AFP reported.

7. The troops were on the ISRAELI side of the border
You know, a border is a fence. A fence has 2 sides. The troops were on the Israeli side. Ergo, the Hamas violated the truce. However, since you insist on bringing "evidence" from an Iranian "news" site, you probably don't want to be confused with facts.

Here is a more reliable article. Hamas fires 8 mortar shells

15. "AFP Reported"
did you miss that?

I respect AFP much more than Israeli sources except Haaretz on occasion.

14. Not according to Ha'aretz
IAF bombs Gaza target after 8 mortar shells fired at Israel

The Israel Air Force on Tuesday evening bombed a target in the Gaza Strip used earlier in the day Palestinian militants to fire eight mortar shells at Israel.

Militants on Tuesday also opened fire at Israel Defense Forces soldiers in Gaza in two separate incidents, in the first violation of a shaky cease-fire in the coastal strip that ended Israel's 3-week offensive against Hamas.

No IDF soldiers were wounded in the incidents, one of which took place near the Kissufim border crossing, and the other in the center of the Strip. In one of the incidents the troops returned fire.

Also Tuesday, Gaza militants in the Gaza Strip fired a mortar shell toward Israel, the IDF said. But police reported that it looked like the projectile never reached Israel.

Militants must be slipping 8 mortars misfired all at the same time
