Israel arrests Pro-Palestinian Belgians

BRUSSELS – Four Belgians were arrested by Israeli security services at Tel Aviv airport while on a mission to support the Palestinian cause, the Foreign Affairs Ministry confirmed Sunday.

The party had been part of a 20-strong human rights group “Ittre Citizen’s Group for the Protection of the Palestinian People,” travelling to Israel on a mission supported by Israel pacifist movements.

On one side, you have an army that is stealing land that isn't theirs, and ruthlessly slaughtering anyone who gets in the way, including civilians, peace activists, journalists, and human rights workers.

Be nice to know what the actual charges levelled are. It would then be possible to assess the incident in a reasonable manner.

There are some serious ones possible, just as it is possible this is merely a trifle, or wholly trumped up.
