Rightist assaulted by police to be compensated

The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court ruled recently that police officers who struck a right-wing activist during the evacuation of a West Bank outpost were liable for NIS 4,000 (about $963) in damages.

The settlers documented the event, and the video, with the assistance of the Yesha Council's Human Rights Group, was transferred to the Police Internal Affairs Bureau (IAB).

The State's approach sets a new level for the perception that a public servant is always right, and that being a public official can be used to cover any violent act," added Levin

1. Aren't these the same hateful folk who complained when B'Tselem handed out cameras to Palestinians?

I remember they were whining that B'Tselem should give them some cameras as well. Looks like they mustered up the funds to buy one...

The impression that I get is that Israel only marginally gives a fuck more about Israelis than it does Palestinians.

Either that or American courts grossly overcompensate victims of state assault...

does, no matter who made the decision in the government, no matter who has the power in the government, you will always find that decision to be the correct one and will twist facts to pretend it is as correct as the Word of God, Himself.
