Four Israeli Arabs suspected of being recruited by Hamas
Security services recently arrested four Israeli
Arabs on suspicion that they were recruited by
Hamas to serve as the terror organization's
agents, it was released for publication Thursday.

The four, who live in the
Galilee and were students at
universities in Jordan, were
allegedly recruited while on
a pilgrimage to the Muslim
holy city of Mecca, in Saudi
Arabia. There, they allegedly
were trained to take weapons
apart and put them together,
Army Radio reported Thursday.

Police and the Shin Bet security service suspect
that the four were trained by Hamas and ordered
to gather intelligence, which the militant
group apparently intended to use in planning
terror attacks against Israeli targets.

Note: Those plans for attacking Israeli targets were civilian targets. If Hamas attacks soldiers (off duty or on patorl) they are still terrorists.

1. Really?
If they attack the IDF they're terrorists? So it doesn't matter who they attack after all (as some scream about why they target civilians) they're terrorists no matter who and where they attack. Ok, at least now we know. They should stop doing anything while Israel takes more of their land, brings more settlers in, builds more wall on Palestinian land and does whatever Sharon wants. Aha...

2. they should stop the violence
Sharon is acting to stop the attacks, and is not "taking more land". All is to be determined by negotiation, not attacks by terrorist groups. No, the fact that they sometimes hit a military target does not change their name or identity.

3. Excuse me?
So the land that Israel occupies is not taken because it's not Palestinian? Is that what you're saying?

4. So are you saying that Israel
has no right to the land it occupies? this is contrary to what I've seen you post before. No, the land that Israel occupies is not Palestinian land. I thought you had more knowledge of history.

5. No it certainly has no right
to the that land. Israel already has it's land as defined by the UN. But at least now you admit that you support the occupation and even consider it Israeli territory as opposed to some that only say it's temporary until peace is achieved.

6. You claim Israel is Arab land
Edited on Thu Nov-13-03 03:34 PM by Gimel
You have never defined what you mean so you're talking in circles. You apparently think that Israel is the Palestinian area that was agreed upon by Oslo. Israel (most Israelis) want the Palestinians the have their own land. There is of now no decision on the border, in all the negotiations from Oslo to the present. You think you've caught me by your semantic twists. You think you can down pin a jacket on me with any label you choose. I have said nothing about "the occupation" on this thread.

7. What?
Then you weren't talking about West Bank, Gaza and other parts that are considered occupied by the IDF? The pre-1967 borders...

I never questioned Israel's recognized borders.
