Hezbollah says it has 'precise' Israeli target list
Hezbollah has an extensive list of Israeli facilities to target in the event of a new conflict, the Lebanese militant group's number two Naim Qassem said in an interview published on Wednesday.

"We now hold a large and precise bank of Israeli targets, and Israel will have to pay the price for any step it takes," Qassem told the mass-circulation An-Nahar daily.

"Hezbollah has worked to develop its readiness to rise to the challenge should it arise, and we can safely say that in the past four years we have prepared ourselves far more than Israel has," he told the Arabic-language daily, which is close to the Shiite group's domestic rivals in Lebanon.

2. Pretty transparent attempt to copy what happened in Gaza where the IDF gutted Hamas in an afternoon.
They also know that the IDF could take similar measures against them. Hezbollah invested heavily in security and infrastructure after what was done to Hamas, but by now it is most likely compromised as well.

Real question is if Hamas has the means to act on its threats and how long before the IDF bombed them back into the stone age if they tried.

3. another quote and couple facts of note
In a separate interview with the pro-Hezbollah daily Al-Binaa, Qassem said: "We have taken into account all possible scenarios for sea, land and air across all of Lebanon.

"What happened in 2006 is much less than what could happen in the future," he added referring to the last devastating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah which killed some 1,200 people in Lebanon, most of them civilians, and 160 Israelis, most of them soldiers.

4. Those aren't the facts.
The Kuwait Times reported that Hezbollah has buried over 700 fighters with more to follow, August 30.<13>

The Australian reports that Israel has the names of over 430 Hezbollah fighters it killed and estimates total Hezbollah dead at over 800, August 29.(Abraham Rabinovich recently reported in the Washington Times on Sept. 27 that Israel now had 532 names.) <52>

A report<53> on August 4, documenting Iran's financial help to the families of Hezbollah fighters, claimed Hezbollah has already lost 500 men, plus 1500 wounded. The report said, that the wounded are being treated in Syria to make the wounded harder to count.
