No Ceasefire: Rockets Land in Be'er Sheva, Ashkelon, W. Negev

At least two Grad Katyusha missiles exploded Monday evening in the area around the southern city of Be'er Sheva as Palestinian Authority terrorists resumed their rocket fire on Israeli men, women and children.

Mortar shells exploded in the Sha'ar HaNegev region, and a short-range Kassam rocket exploded in an open field in the same area. No physical injuries were reported and there was no damage in any of the attacks.

Earlier in the day, a Grad Katyusha missile was fired at the coastal city of Ashkelon. The rocket exploded in an area south of the city. No one was physically injured, and no damage was reported.

Over the weekend, 39 rockets and mortars were fired at southern Israeli cities by Palestinian Authority terrorists in Gaza. Ashdod, Ashkelon, Be'er Sheva, Gan Yavne and numerous other communities all came under attack repeatedly.

Now, it seems the only legitimate targets in this conflict are Israeli women and children.

Firstly, there is no such thing as a "Grad Katyusha missile". Grads and Katyushas are two separate things, and they are rockets, not missiles.

Secondly, there are no "Palestinian Authority terrorists" in Gaza. The recent rockets have been fired by Islamic Jihad, not exactly a close friend of the Palestinian Authority.

the grads were fired from gaza territory where hamas has full control (and taxes the importation of all goods that enter the via the tunnels)....the grads are military grade rockets that are more accurate, faster and carry larger warheads then the locally made katushas.

More so, the rockets, as per the news release, were fired from trucks in salvos, simaler to what hizballas does with iranian aid, hence we have the upgrade that hamas has be trying for and that we've all be "waiting for"...and that those would like to see the blockade lifted have always pretended couldn't happen. The quantities are relatively small but no doubt with the lax egyptian security in the sinai, the importation will continue....but at least they are not coming in boatloads with even larger warheads, longer range that so many here pretend couldn't happen

Now that a few more "million" israelis are in range of random rockets, eventually after a few hundred, israel will reinvade gaza and there will be the usual howls of protest as the IDF attempts to limit their use.....

And, Israel is taking the right measured response, ensuring goods come in through Ashod, and using a judicious amount of force.
