Cairo rally: One day we'll kill all Jews
Excerpt:

Muslim Brotherhood spokesmen, as well as Palestinian guest speakers, made explicit calls for Jihad and for liberating the whole of Palestine. Time and again, a Koran quote vowing that "one day we shall kill all the Jews" was uttered at the site. Meanwhile, businessmen in the crowd were urged to invest funds in Jerusalem in order to prevent the acquisition of land and homes by Jews.

Throughout the event, Muslim Brotherhood activists chanted: "Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv, judgment day has come."

Speaking to Ynet outside the mosque following the prayer, elementary school teacher Ala al-Din said that "all Egyptian Muslims are willing to embark on Jihad for the sake of Palestine."

"Why is the US losing in Afghanistan? Because the other side is willing and wants to die. We have a different mentality than that of the Americans and Jews," he said.

"Eldad Beck is reporting from Cairo on behalf of Ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth"

Let me get this straight. Eldad, a Jewish journalist from Israel, gets his assignment from his editor, to go to Cairo and report from a convention of 5000 fanatical Muslim Brotherhood members in a mosque, who all say they want to kill him.
Part of me wonders if old Eldad didn't spend the day poolside in the Cairo Hilton, sipping Pina Colada's and just phoned in a story of what they want to believe anyway.

8. Routine Jew hatred is the norm in Gaza. Here's a transcript from 2010...

Following are excerpts from a public address delivered by Hamas Leader Mahmoud Al-Zahhar, which aired on Al-Aqsa TV on November 5, 2010:

Mahmoud Al-Zahhar:
On this occasion, dear brothers and sisters, we cannot but recall the crimes of these criminal (Jews) throughout history. Today, we present the world with a bunch of questions, and we challenge it to answer them honestly, for today, interests overshadow moral values, elections overshadow principles, and Zionism has overshadowed the truth.

We ask the people of the world today: Why did France, in 1253, expel and uproot the Jewish entity, which was represented by the ghetto? Why did they expel them? Because they sucked the blood of the French, because they shed the blood of the French, slaughtered them, stole their money, and conspired against them. At the end of the day, the French had no choice but to expel them in 1253.

The (Jews) fled north, to Britain, and lived there for only 27 years, until the English realized the criminality of these people, who murdered them, sucked their blood, and stole their money. So they slaughtered hem, and expelled them in 1280.

We ask the French and the British: Why did you expel them? We ask Germany of pre-Hitler times: Why were the (Jews) expelled in 1384? We ask the (Jews) why France expelled them a second time, in 1360, why Hungry expelled them in 1360, and why Belgium expelled them in 1370.

This was not something new – it started even before 1253, on the day that Pharaoh the tyrant expelled them because they had shed the blood of the Egyptians, and had conspired with their enemies against them. So (Pharaoh) expelled them, after they lost their religion, after the time of Joseph.

Was this series (of explosions) anything new? No. After the Czechs expelled them in 1380. Austria expelled them in 1420, Holland in 1444, and Spain in 1492. Russia expelled them after they conspired to assassinate the Czar in 1882, and Germany expelled them once again in 1945.

The series of expulsions continues to this day. Blood continues to be shed, martyrs continue to fall, our sons continue to hoist the banner high, and Allah willing, their expulsion from Palestine in its entirety is certain to come. We are no weaker or less honorable than the peoples that expelled and annihilated the Jews. The day we expel them is drawing near.

<...>

The nation that opens up its doors, its hearts, and its homes to the (Jews) who were expelled from all corners of the earth was the Islamic nation.

<...>

We extended our hands to feed these hungry dogs and wild beasts, and they devoured our fingers. We have learned the lesson – there is no place for you among us, and you have no future among the nations of the world. You are headed to annihilation.

4. Arabs in love with anarchy
We should have daily Iran and Egypt threads, like with the stock market.

This isn’t the first time the Arab world falls in love with the negative images it invents. This was also the case in the 1990s and in the 2000s, when the Arab world fell in love with the martyr phenomenon. Poets wrote songs of praise for the suicide bombers who blew up in Israel and media outlets spoke of them enthusiastically. However, the martyrs then started to explode in the streets of the Arab world as well.

The same happened when the Egyptians fell in love with the destructive military revolution they experienced in 1952, and this is happening now too: They have fallen in love with anarchy.

The “million-man” rally at Cairo’s Tahrir Square has turned into a sanctified term for them, a value instead of a means, an admirable historical symbol, without realizing that there isn’t much that ties this rally to real democracy. This is in fact an aggressive, belligerent and destructive move for their society.

Indeed, Egypt is home to 87 million citizens, and a million babies were already born since Hosni Mubarak was toppled. After all, there is no problem in getting hundreds of thousands and even millions of people out to the streets. Yet the Egyptians failed to realize that they are sanctifying an aggressive and even violent move, which from now on shall threaten any kind of regime that emerges there.

9. Muslim Brotherhood Rally Calls To ‘Kill All Jews’
November 27, 2011

JERUSALEM (JTA) -- The Muslim Brotherhood held an anti-Israel rally in a Cairo mosque that reportedly called to "one day kill all Jews."

Some 5,000 people participated in the Nov. 25 rally, during which they made the call about killing Jews -- a quote from the Koran -- a reporter for Israel's daily Yediot Achronot reported from the Egyptian capital.

The rally held in the ancient al-Azhar Mosque was called to raise awareness about the "battle against Jerusalem's Judaization," Yediot reported.

The phrase "Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv, judgment day has come" was chanted repeatedly throughout the event.

10. Was it the Imam? the crowd? an individual?
This story seems very short on details and very long with a broad brsuh attack. Needs more details to be credible.

13. Sounds like everyone in Egypt is all in
"elementary school teacher Ala al-Din said that "all Egyptian Muslims are willing to embark on Jihad for the sake of Palestine.""

No ambiguity or lack of details there... you hae spokespersons, imams, and lay citizens all reading from the same sheet of music.

Because it will determine which moral equivocation argument to use to defend the "Death to Israel" talk.

It appears you believe you have the ability to remotely read minds and assign motives. Lastly, it appears to me that Israel's biggest enemy right now is the hard-liner, right-wing Netanyahu government.

18. Blame the rape victim for dressing provocatively
Of course, Israel is responsible for arabs firing qassam rockets into Israel. Israel wears its dresses too tight and flaunts its prosperity in the face of ne'er do well terrorists.

12. Not just one, several
Quran

The words "humility" and "humiliation" occur frequently in the Qur'an and later Muslim literature in relation to Jews. According to Lewis, "This, in Islamic view, is their just punishment for their past rebelliousness, and is manifested in their present impotence between the mighty powers of Christendom and Islam." The standard Quranic reference to Jews is verse : "And remember ye said: "O Moses! we cannot endure one kind of food (always); so beseech thy Lord for us to produce for us of what the earth groweth, -its pot-herbs, and cucumbers, Itsgarlic, lentils, and onions." He said: "Will ye exchange the better for the worse? Go ye down to any town, and ye shall find what ye want!" They were covered with humiliation and misery; they drew on themselves the wrath of Allah. This because they went on rejecting the Signs of Allah and slaying His Messengers without just cause. This because they rebelled and went on transgressing."<58>

Two verses later we read: "And remember, Children of Israel, when We made a covenant with you and raised Mount Sinai before you saying, "Hold tightly to what We have revealed to you and keep it in mind so that you may guard against evil." But then you turned away, and if it had not been for Allah's grace and merecy, you surely would have been among the lost. And you know those among who sinned on the Sabbath. We said to them, "You will be transformed into despised apes." So we used them as a warning to their people and to the following generations, as well as a lesson for the Allah-fearing."(Qur'an ) The accusation that Jews will ultimately be transformed into apes and pigs is traditionally understood literally and is derived from such Qur'anic and other early Muslim sources.

The Qur'an associates Jews above all with rejection of God's prophets including Jesus and Muhammad, thus explaining their resistance to him personally. (Cf. Surah 2:87–91; 5:59, 61, 70, and 82.) It states that they are, together with outright idolators, the worst and most inveterate enemies of Islam, and thus will not only suffer eternally in Hell but in this world will be the most degraded of the Peoples of the Book, below even Christians, everywhere. (Cf. Surah 5:82; 3:54–56.) It also asserts that Jews believe that they are the sole children of God (Surah 5:18), and that only they will achieve salvation (Surah 2:111). According to the Qur'an, Jews blasphemously claim that Ezra is the son of God, as Christians claim Jesus is, (Surah 9:30) and that God's hand is fettered (Surah 5:64 – i.e., that they can freely defy God). Some of those who are Jews,<56> "pervert words from their meanings", (Surah 4:44), and because they have committed wrongdoing, God has "forbidden some good things that were previously permitted them", thus explaining Jewish commandments regarding food, Sabbath restrictions on work, and other rulings as a punishment from God (Surah 4:160). They listen for the sake of mendacity (Surah 5:41), twisting the truth, and practice forbidden usury, and therefore they will receive "a painful doom" (Surah 4:161).<56> The Qur'an gives credence to the Christian claim of Jews scheming against Jesus, "...but God also schemed, and God is the best of schemers"(Surah 3:54). In the Muslim view, the crucifixion of Jesus was an illusion, and thus the supposed Jewish plots against him ended in complete failure.<46> In numerous verses (Surah 3:63, 71; 4:46, 160–161; 5:41–44, 63–64, 82; 6:92)<59> the Qur'an accuses Jews of deliberately obscuring and perverting scripture.<60>

also the Hadiths:

"The Day of Judgement will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdullah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, (a certain kind of tree) would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews." (related by al-Bukhari and Muslim).Sahih Muslim, 41:6985, see also Sahih Muslim, 41:6981, Sahih Muslim, 41:6982, Sahih Muslim, 41:6983, Sahih Muslim, 41:6984, Sahih al-Bukhari, 4:56:791,(Sahih al-Bukhari, 4:52:177)

19. Certain folks in this forum are going to be all up in arms if Israel needs to seize the Sinai again
Israel gave the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt on the condition that Egypt no longer poses a threat to Israel. Although I do not believe that the Muslim Brotherhood is foolish enough to take a direct military offensive against Israel, it may let its borders go soft, allowing in illegal contraband that the previous administration at least marginally limited.
