Palestinian militants attempt to blow up IDF outpost
Palestinian militants attempt on Wednesday morning to blow up an Israel Defense Forces post on the Israeli-Egyptian border, near Rafah.

Two large devices went off near the Hirdon IDF post around 10 A.M. No Israelis were injured in the blast, but some damage was caused to the outpost. The Palestinians apparently dug tunnels which lead close to the outpost and then set the devices.

Hamas has claimed responsibility for the attempted attack, the Itim News Agency reported.

This was the second attempt by Palestinians to blow up an outpost. In September, a device was set off near the Termit outpost in Gaza, causing extensive damage to the outpost.

Attacks like this are not peace. I'm glad there hasn't been a successful attack on Israeli civilians for two months. It is at least a credit to the IDF that there have been none. The Peace Fence still is not complete, so their work has to continue to apprehend terrorists.

Settlers vie for East Jerusalem

Construction began last week on a new Israeli settlement with 600 housing units.

By Ben Lynfield | Correspondent of The Christian Science Monitor

JERUSALEM – While attention is focused on the fate of far-flung West Bank settlement outposts, Israel has launched a major settlement thrust only a few miles from the Knesset in Jerusalem.
The bulldozers started grinding in the Palestinian area of Jabal Mukaber last week to launch the largest settlement yet inside a Palestinian neighborhood.

While there have been no Palestinian attacks inside Israel for ten weeks, Israeli attacks against Palestinians have not stopped for a single day.

In the last two weeks alone, Israel has killed 21 Palestinians and injured 55 others.

In an attack on Palestinian civilians and property yesterday, the Israeli military completely destroyed 18 homes in the Khan Yunis refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, leaving 25 families (178 Palestinian civilians) homeless. In addition, homes belonging to 6 Palestinian families (approximately 40 civilians) were damaged so heavily that they are now uninhabitable.

3. The count
Glad to say that they didn't kill any Israeli civilians in the past two weeks.

How many of the 21 were militants, Resistance?

You know that just one suicide bombing can take that many Israelis, so lets apprehend all infiltrators and round up terrorists, because more than 20 attempst have been made this month.

Instead of a direct route of 27 kilometers, the terrorists were forced to take a circuitous route by taxi, tractor and auto, that resulted in their capture. "I can state that if there had been no fence, we would be holding this conference after a horrible attack in Yokneam."
