Shehadeh bomb victims sue Israeli government
Twelve Gaza residents are suing the government of Israel for damages allegedly suffered during the bombing of the house of senior Hamas activist Salah Shehadeh.

In July 2002, an Israel Air Force fighter jet dropped a one-ton bomb on the house, located in the A-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza, killing Shehadeh, his wife, his daughter, another Hamas activist, and ten civilians and wounding 78.

The suit, filed in the Kfar Sava District Court, details various injuries and property damage. The daughter of one couple that is a signatory to the suit was killed, as well as the wife and three children of another plaintiff

1. I am somewhat surprised
that this article did not draw any attention..If the plaintiffs actions are successful, albiet, in civil proceedings not criminial..the consequences for the Israeli Government may be quite significant, in terms of the moral not the financial..

2. Like it would even dent the mindset of the GOI
They think killing a dozen and wounding dozens more to get ONE guy is justified.

Hell, they probably laughed when they heard the news.

perhaps the GOI did fall into raptuous laughter, however , an awarding of damages by ones own judicial process would throw a certain amount of attention on tactics used in this confrontation , both internally and internationally..
