No plans to target Arafat

There are no plans to target Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat or his Mukata complex in Ramallah in the wake of the Thursday's terror attack that killed 10, said Defense Ministry officials.

Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom, however, renewed his call for Arafat's exile. "He is the only leader in the world who doesn't want an independent Palestinian state. As long as he is here, the possibility of new leadership doesn't exist."
Prime Minister Ariel Sharon met with Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz and other security officials late Thursday night to assess the situation and plan Israel's response to the Jerusalem attack.

"Israel's response will be forthcoming," a ministry official told The Jerusalem Post, adding, "It won't be earth-shattering. We will continue to combat terror and target ticking bombs." The official said Fatah's claim of responsibility was still being investigated.

It would be interesting to see the result of the weasel being eliminated. I will leave it at that.

1. People are dead and this boob repeats the same old cliches.
Shake a fist at Yassir, yearn for new Palestinian leadership
so that peace could come at last, harrummphh and mumble about
planning, threaten all and sundry, and claim to be investigating
something or other. Might as well be a recording.

2. You and I are in complete agreement

It's unbelievable.

Edit: Not unbelievable that we are in complete agreement. Israel's response, or lack thereof is unbelievable.

3. I had considered that we might be, although
I suspect we would disagree about solutions.
