Major terror attack foiled, two soldiers hurt in W. Bank
A large-scale terror attack was foiled Tuesday at the Hawara checkpoint south of the West Bank city of Nablus when an Israeli civilian discovered an explosive device with a time fuse attached to the gas tank of an Israeli truck.


The bomb exploded after Israel Defense Forces troops alerted to the area tried to neutralize it. There were no injuries in the explosion.

In the West Bank village of Al-Fawar near Hebron, two IDF
soldiers were lightly hurt after Palestinians threw stones at them, Army Radio reported. The soldiers were taken to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva.

In the Gaza Strip, Palestinians fired an anti-tank missile at an IDF vehicle on the Karni-Netzarim road on Tuesday. Troops returned fire.
