Group: Attack on Montreal Jewish school avenges Yassin death
MONTREAL - The Monday arson attack on a Montreal Jewish school was carried out to avenge Israel's assassination of Hamas founder and leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, according to a letter found at the scene.

Quebec's French-language TVA television network reported the letter denounced recent Israeli attacks against Palestinians, including the killing of Yassin.

The letter noted the arsonists intended the attack as a warning and did not intend to harm people, Montreal media outlets reported.

But this is just the beginning, the letter warned, adding that if Israel continues its "crimes" in the Middle East those then those responsible for the Montreal attack will carry out further operations.

1. They need to find these, ummm, wit-challenged people and
put them in a nice quite comfortable place they cannot
get out of.

2. You mean the wit-challenged people who order Yassin killed ?
No, of course, you mean the arsonists. But what concerns you about their wits ? Were the Spanish train bombers not using their noodles ?

Bombing this school is nuts in it's own right, but even
if one allows oneself to think in terms of the cause these
people appear to think they are working for, then it will
only serve to harm that cause to do this, or to even threaten
to do this.

Edit: of course it could always be a Mossad psyop to
discredit the Palestinians. :tinfoilhat:

11. So of course
that means that the bombers are not antisemitic, just anti-Israel. Or maybe they are just goofing -off and think that it would be a hell of-a-lot of fun to scare the sh__ out of the Jews. Either way, it's anti-semitic and anti-Israel, even if they just are back-woods loonies.

Dumb ones too.

Edit: but that's redundant.

4. Because the terrorists only hate Israel...
It has nothing to do with the fact that Israel is the homeland for the Jews.

5. Right
In fact, international terrorism is anti-Semitism, and/or Israel is again the scape-goat for discontents.

7. No, of course not
bin Ladin didn't preach hatred of Jews, Malaysian PM didn't preach hatred of Jews, Saddam loved Jews and Arafat can't wait till they're thriving around him. Yassin sent love letters to Israeli Jews and invited them to visit. /sarcasm

Yeah, sure. No claim to anti-semitism there.

8. No, argue your own rhetoric - or be more clear

"In fact, international terrorism is anti-Semitism"

Iran Contra was about Jews

FARC is about Jews

The FLQ were about Jews

or is it just your definition of terrorism that needs some clarity - is it mandatory that the victim be jewish for it to be considered terrorism?

well, there's your problem

9. Clarity
Forgive me. I didn't mean that all terrorism is anti-Jewish. That would be taking this too far. I mean the international terrorism of the present "War on Terror".

10. please Gimel, let me apologize

I should have asked for clarification up front.

I would disagree though - the americans are terrorizing and are not acting out of anti-semitism - but greed.
