I just could not take my eyes off this photo.She was a 3 year old girl who was caught by the gun fire of Israeli troops in the Gaza Strip. I felt compelled to share it with you all. Why must we continue to support all of this mess? These are the things that cause bus bombings in Jerusalem and the continued anger and terrorist attacks towards America.

Israeli, there will be little attention paid, and certainly none will be forthcoming from the Israel-is-always-right-and-always-holy-and-can-never-do-any-wrong people here.

They post threads castigating us for not showing the proper amount of outrage for the horrific murders of four Israeli children and their pregnant mother at a settlement, then couldn't care less about the equally horrific and senseless murders of Palestinian children and civilians at the hands of the IDF; saying things like they shouldn't have been there and, the most ridiculous spinning bullshit I've ever heard, that the Palestinians themselves threw their children into harm's way without "batting an eye", if you can believe that total bullshit. ANYTHING to justify the murderous rampages of the IDF.

i guess they found out that "cheering" the deaths of Palestinians doesn`t cut it here. thank god there seems to be a growing peace movement in Israel because i always thought that the Jewish peoples were intellectuals,artists, musicians, and scientists who benefited mankind not the Jewish people who are represented by the acts of the idf. when nations and it`s peoples cannot come to a common ground we as a world suffer for it...

certainly isn't! What gets me is that they have the attitude that any expression of anger, horror, and sympathy for Palestinian victims automatically means you have no anger, horror, and sympathy for Israeli victims and nothing could be further from the truth.

Besides, this post will fall victim to the lovely catch-22 that all posts about the I/P conflict suffer.

Step 1) Lock this post and move to I/P forum (2 or 3 levels down)

Step 2) There this post will be locked for any one of numerous reasons, such as not being allowed to post photos in that forum (even though the photo was posted in the GD forum).

Step 3) Well...there is no step 3 as the post is locked and the dialog is over...tragic if you are allowed to think about it...
