"The following is a timeline of the most significant terrorist attacks since the Palestinian intifada began in September 2000:

Jan. 5, 2003 — A pair of suicide bombings in Tel Aviv kill 22 people, many of them foreign workers. The bombing is the deadliest since the March 2002 Passover massacre in Netanya.


March 5, 2003 — A bus is blown up in Haifa, killing 15, most of them teenagers.


June 11, 2003 — A Palestinian bomber dressed as a fervently Orthodox Jew blows himself up on a bus, killing 17. The attack comes a week after the "road map" peace process is launched at a summit in Aqaba, Jordan, with the leaders of Israel, the Palestinian Authority and the United States.


Aug. 19, 2003 — A bombing on a Jerusalem bus kills at least 20, including several children on their way home from a Bar Mitzvah celebration. More than 100 are wounded. The bombing takes place on the eve of a planned transfer of several West Bank cities to Palestinian Authority control, and in the midst of a "cease-fire" declared by Palestinian terror groups."

Are these partners for peace? I think we know the answer.

Why is an account of the murder of Israelis ridiculous?

Have the decency to talk about indiscriminate Israeli killings, illegal settlements and the murder of peace activists.

But then again, contemptible behaviour from both sides is nothing new.

the deaths of Israelis to the deaths of Palestinians. The circumstances are different.

kill Palestinians 3 to 1. So what is your point?

Oh, yes, all the ones killed are terrorists. I forget.

In particular that four year-old.

The absolute best were the Lebanese massacres where "two-thousand terrorists" supposedly were and they sent in 150 of the most ruthless phalangists they could find to go fight the "two-thousand terrorists"

No cognitive dissonce as regards the question of how they thought 150 militiamen were going to fight "two-thousand terrorists" but the propagandists still tried their ass off and will to this day make up stories about the vast arsenal of weapons found (that apparently no one used to fight back with in the absolute cleansing the place took with the exception of one small group that Israeli artillery subdued) but of course they are all "terrorists" or "accidents fighting terrorists" if they are four years old.

Christians did the killing, Sharon, too slowly I'll admit, sent in Israeli troops to stop the massacre.

They never went in at all and turned back anyone trying to escape the camp.

Palestinian deaths are from Palestinians blowing themselves up as they take a bunch of Israelis out, on buses, at cafes etc ad nauseum? BTW, infants and young children are many of the Israeli dead and/or maimed when that happens you know!

Deaths are deaths: it is the one true equalizer here below.

There may be differences in the motive and culpability of the killer, but an Arab Palestinian unfortunate enough, say, to be passing on the street alongside the automobile containing a Hamas leader does not differ in any important way from an Israeli unfortunate enough to step onto a partricular bus one evening.

When I state there is no comparison, I refer to the motive involved in the action.
