Jewish Pro-Arab Terror Suspect To Stay In Jail
The Supreme Court on Thursday rejected an appeal submitted by Tali Fahima to be released from her four-month administrative detention. The 29-year-old Jewish peace activist from Tel Aviv was arrested in August on suspicion of planning terrorist attacks against Jewish targets.

Supreme Court Justice Ayala Prokatcha wrote in her decision: "I reached the conclusion that the administrative detention of Fahima in a prison facility for the requested period of time is unavoidable. The evidence against her indicates a concrete, immediate and direct danger. Should she be released, she may, with near certainty, be involved in activities that have the character of violent terrorism against Israeli targets and Israeli citizens."

The Justice called the evidence presented to the court "extremely grave and serious," saying it was "apparently based on direct and current sources."

Fahima, the Jewish girlfriend of the Jenin-based terrorist Zakaria Zubeidi, is suspected of involvement in a northern Jerusalem bombing in which two Arabs were killed and three Border Guard policemen were seriously wounded. In August, she said of her boyfriend, "Even if Zakaria did carry out attacks, so what? He is under occupation. He is a freedom fighter."
