NABLUS, West Bank (AP) - Israeli undercover troops snatched two wounded Palestinian gunmen from their West Bank hospital beds in a pre-dawn raid Tuesday, the latest Israeli military operation in the wake of a deadly bus bombing a week ago.
The troops knocked on the door of the intensive care unit, imposed a curfew on the patients and doctors and carried the two men - members of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, a militant group loosely affiliated with Yasser Arafat's Fatah faction - out of the ward and into military ambulances, a doctor, who spoke on condition on anonymity, said.

They are not attacking the family of the gunmen, nor are they tearing down homes. They are arresting them without killing anyone, and Israel doesn't have the death penalty. This is progress!

Not really that effectual toward any end but more Israel Aggression unless they have something else up their sleeve instead of suicide bombers. Blowback rolls right off the back of Sharon and lands like a missile from a helicopter right back into to the OT's.

Are they going to blow up more kids or throw more wheelchair bound people from cruise ships? My guess is that the IDF is one more terror bombing away from getting serious about the elimination of the nest of terrorists in their backyard.

IDF officers are not targeting kids on busses and any Israeli citizen that breaks the law is arrested. When these hamas and other terrorists kill people the PA turns a blind eye.

I don't see what the big deal here is...the IDF arrested some terrorists without killing innocents or the terrorists. Sounds like a clean "bust" to me.

They have no business "arresting" anyone and they don't even specify what "terrorism" they committed. The phrase "gunman" is used for a variety of different reasons, if all they were shooting at was the IDF they have a right under international law to shoot at them but they don't even say that, they say they are "members of Al-Aqsa" which could very well be just guilt by association.

It will be interesting to see how many people they "liquidate" for these same bombings since they have already killed Hamas members for "planning" the same incident.

Israelis have hospitals with medical supplies. That's why they did it. It's another step on the "Road Map".

Criminals are criminals. This helps ensure justice on them.
