Israel Arrests 5 Peace Activists In Nablus
More stuff you wont find in the mainstream press - nice picture in the link there. Give peace a chance? Oh no, not the IDF ... at least nobody was bulldozed to death or shot in the head this time.

http://www.islam-online.net/English/News/2003-07/10/article08.shtml

An American, two Britons, a Canadian and a Frenchman, who were all members of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM), were arrested along with an Israeli while trying to demolish an earth roadblock with a bulldozer after already demolishing two others, said a statement according to Agence France-Presse (AFP).

Four other foreign ISM activists were arrested on Wednesday, July9 , as they demonstrated against the construction of a controversial security fence along the West Bank.

The four members of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) -- from the United States, Canada, Denmark and Sweden -- were detained near the Palestinian village of Arabbuna after refusing orders to leave tents they had set up next to the wall.

Over the past few months, peace activists paid dearly with their lives for their pro-Palestinian support.

1. Soldiers Attack Internationals & Palestinians
this is a seperate incident ...

http://www.scoop.co.nz/mason/stories/WO0307/S00121.htm

Dozens of Palestinians and approximately 30 internationals have been attacked by Israeli soldiers in Til, near Nablus of the West Bank.

Since 6:00 this morning the group has been working with their hands to remove three large roadblocks closing off the villages of Iraq Bureen and Til, south of Nablus. The action is part of the International Solidarity Movement's Freedom Summer Palestine Campaign and efforts to highlight Palestinian imprisonment and lack of freedom of movement.

There is at least one video camera in the area and pictures / video should be available on our website as soon as we can get them up.

that the PA was no putting up road blocks to arrest the terrorists in Gaza. Let them do the work. Will the ISM protest?

4. No way.....
ISM only protests against Israel when it engages
in counter-terrorism.

However they are good at defending tunnels where terrorists
transport and hide weapons.
