AIPAC rejected a request of the Palestinian Authority not to interfere in the approval of a bill that would allocate $200 million of aid to the PA, Israel Radio reported.

The money was slated to reach the PA via aid funds. AIPAC officials said the fact that PA leader Mahmoud Abbas was still surrounded by Arafat's associates raised a suspicion that the money wouldn't reach its worthy recipients if allocated directly.
