1. I Vote Other, Insufficient Data
Was Bush a patsy?

Was Bush a mastermind?

Did 19 Arabs under 5'7" tall overwhelm American air defenses
with box cutters as directed by a guy from a cave in
Afghanistan?

I don't know, but I need better answers than what I'm getting.
And the widows deserve answers to the 91% of their questions
that were not adequately answered.

2. I absolutely agree.

I don't feel there is anything wrong or wasteful with pursuing the unanswered, poorly answered, or outright ignored questions; especially since it's only just, and due. As the sheeple are fond of bleating "if there is nothing to hide..."

I also don't feel I know for certain the five W's (and one H) of the 9/11 attacks, but the obstruction and obfuscation of a fair and thorough investigation makes me mighty suspicious of what we've been told.

4. I agree.
I guess most people are just going to file this amongst the 1000 other questions many of us have had in regards to this and past administrations scandals, half-truths and policies. Maybe the cumulative effect of all these dishonest things will be enough for a natural, nonviolent idealogical cleansing and partial rebuilding of the foundations on which the political system is based - so that the system could once again work truly for and of the people.

that prior to 911 that OBL was NOT in a cave and was basically a free man in afghanistan?

6. Prior to 9/11 OBL was a free man in Afghanistan
From 7/04/01 to 7/14/01 OBL was a free man in the American
Hospital in Dubai, according to Le Figaro. There he
was treated by Dr. Terry Callaway. He met there with a CIA
agent, Larry Mitchell, and with the head of Saudi Security,
Prince Turki al Faisal, who is now the Saudi Ambassador to the
USA.

On 9/10/01 Osama was not in Afghanistan. He was in Rawalpindi,
Pakistan, a city of 3 million located 6 km from the capital,
Islamabad, and the seat of the Pakistani military HQ. Reportedly
he was checked into a military hospital for dialysis.

Why he had to go to Rawalpindi for a routine treatment like
dialysis has not been explained. Jane's Intelligence Digest
corroborates an Indian newspaper's report that Osama had
periodically been going for dialysis treatments in a Pakistani
military hospital in the border town of Peshawar.

One is tempted to speculate that the proximity of the International
Airport may have had something to do with Osama's presence in
Rawalpindi that day.

I have noticed that Osama, his brother Shafig, General Mahmoud
Ahmad (head of the Pakistani ISI) and W all engaged in hostage-like
behavior on or around 9/11. I'm wondering if anyone can point to
anyone else who engaged in such behavior at that time.

9. you proved my point
he was not in a cave and was perfectly capable of sending out orders.

i would nto be surprised if the going into the hospital was part of his plan with cooperation of pakistani's.
you just mentioned 2 days but what about the weeks and months prior to that?

10. I mentioned the month of July, 8 weeks before 9/11.

Were I visited in the hospital by the CIA and the head of security
of a nation which had yanked my citizenship, I would not feel very
free. Would you?

11. can you please
point out to me where exactly on the website the two dates you quoted are listed. i looked quickly and couldnt find the first one that you cited.

as for the second one, i have no doubt that certain elements within pakistan fully supported OBL and would (and probably still) give him any cover he needs to do what he wants.

12. July 4th through 14th 2001 Osama in Dubai

July 4-14, 2001: Bin Laden Reportedly Receives Lifesaving Treatment in Dubai, Said to Meet with CIA While There

Bin Laden, America’s most wanted criminal with a $5 million bounty on his head, supposedly receives lifesaving treatment for renal failure from American specialist Dr. Terry Callaway at the American hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He is possibly accompanied by Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri (who is said to be bin Laden’s personal physician, al-Qaeda’s second-in-command, and leader of Egypt’s Islamic Jihad), plus several bodyguards. Callaway supposedly treated bin Laden in 1996 and 1998, also in Dubai. Callaway later refuses to answer any questions on this matter.

During his stay, bin Laden is visited by “several members of his family and Saudi personalities,” including Prince Turki al Faisal, then head of Saudi intelligence. On July 12, bin Laden reportedly meets with CIA agent Larry Mitchell in the hospital. Mitchell apparently lives in Dubai as an Arab specialist under the cover of being a consular agent. The CIA, the Dubai hospital, and even bin Laden deny the story. The two news organizations that broke the story, Le Figaro and Radio France International, stand by their reporting.

The explosive story is widely reported in Europe, but there are only two, small wire service stories on it in the US. The Guardian claims that the story originated from French intelligence, “which is keen to reveal the ambiguous role of the CIA, and to restrain Washington from extending the war to Iraq and elsewhere.” The Guardian adds that during his stay bin Laden is also visited by a second CIA officer.

In 2003, reporter Richard Labeviere will provide additional details of what he claims happened in a book entitled “The Corridors of Terror.” He claims he learned about the meeting from a contact in the Dubai hospital. He claims the event was confirmed in detail by a Gulf prince who presented himself as an adviser to the Emir of Bahrain. This prince claimed the meeting was arrange by Prince Turki al-Faisal, Saudi Arabia’s intelligence director. The prince said, “By organizing this meeting...Turki thought he could start direct negotiations between and the CIA on one fundamental point: that bin Laden and his supporters end their hostilities against American interests.” In exchange, the CIA and Saudis would allow bin Laden to return to Saudi Arabia and live freely there. The meeting is said to be a failure.

On July 15, Larry Mitchell reportedly returns to CIA headquarters to report on his meeting with bin Laden. French terrorism expert Antoine Sfeir says the story of this meeting has been verified and is not surprising: It “is nothing extraordinary. Bin Laden maintained contacts with the CIA up to 1998. These contacts have not ceased since bin Laden settled in Afghanistan. Up to the last moment, CIA agents hoped that bin Laden would return to the fold of the US, as was the case before 1989.” A CIA spokesman calls the entire account of bin Laden’s stay at Dubai “sheer fantasy.”

3. I voted for LIHOP...
... because I think it's most likely based on the information available at present. But I could go up or down depending on any new evidence that comes out.
