Richard Clarke- Arms peddler?
"Clarke's profile first surfaced in 1986. He was an intellectual author of a plan to use psychological warfare against the Libyan leader, Moammar Gadhafi.........
The operation backfired when the Reagan White House was caught planting a false report in The Wall Street Journal about Libya's support of terrorism."

"Under President Bush, Clarke served as assistant secretary of state for political and military affairs. In 1992, he was accused by the State Department's inspector general of looking the other way as Israel transferred American military technology to China..... There was an allegation that we hadn't investigated a huge body of evidence that the Israelis were involved in technology transfers," Clarke said. "In fact, we had investigated it. I knew more about it than anyone. We found one instance where it was true. The Israelis had taken aerial refueling technology we sold them and sold it to a Latin American country. We caught them, and they admitted they had done it."

Sherman Funk, the inspector general who accused Clarke, remembered the case differently.

"He's wrong," said Funk, the State Department's inspector general from 1987 to 1994. "He's being very disingenuous. Dick Clarke was unilaterally adopting a policy that was counter to the law and counter to the avowed policy of the government. It was not up to him to make that determination. Almost all the people in his own office disagreed with him. In the end, he had to leave the State Department."

"For example, according to the Wall Street Journal of 13 March 1992, senior U.S. officials have disclosed that there are "bucketfuls of intelligence data companies owned by the Israeli government to illicit sales," evidence which is described by such officials as "overwhelming" and "highly credible."

"Among the details officials chose to leak to the newspaper from this report is the fact that: "Mr. Funk will recommend disciplinary action against Richard Clarke, assistant secretary of state in charge of the bureau of politico-military affairs. Such action could include firing." On 14 March, the Washington Post revealed that Clarke was indeed being removed from his post "for failing to take action on repeated warnings from intelligence agencies about re-export of weapons technology by Israel and other countries."

P.S.
I would REALLY like to know how ANYBODY can stop Israel from doing ANYTHING.
Do tell.

The whole lot of em', complicit. Theyre like a classroom of kids lying to their teacher, no one can keep their lies straight and they giggle ,smirk, stutter and ramble when the teacher gets too close to the truth. And no, no one can stop " the MOSSAD, the Israeli intelligence service, the SAMS officers say: "Wildcard. Ruthless and cunning. Has capability to target U.S. forces and make it look like a Palestinian/Arab act."

Hey Richard Clarke, why would dem' teurrests want to hurt us?

"Why would people conduct terrorism in the United States? One reason is blackmail. A major terrorist attack occurs involving chemical weapons or computers, then someone reliably says they did it and adds that, if the United States continues its support for Israel or eradicating coca on the Upper Huallaga valley in Peru or whatever, it will happen again"
http://www.washingtoninstitute.org/pubs/lansdowne/clarke.htm

"Why would anyone want to mount such an attack? "To extort us," he said. "To intimidate us. To get us to abandon our foreign policy --'Abandon Israel or else!'"
http://www.library.cornell.edu/colldev/mideast/clark.htm

So what should we do with dese' turrists?

"Whereas I cannot go into detail about what actions the United States is taking to disrupt terrorist groups, the basic philosophy behind this policy mirrors community policing belief: Get them off the streets, round them up."
http://www.washingtoninstitute.org/pubs/lansdowne/clarke.htm

Somebody's quoted as saying that they walked into your office and almost immediately afterwards, the first words out of your mouth was "Al Qaeda.

Well, I assumed it was Al Qaeda. No one else had the intention of doing that. No one else that I knew of had the capability of doing that. So yes, as soon as it happened, I assumed it was Al Qaeda."

Because one of the things that surprises a lot of the public, I think, is that immediately after Sept. 11, the administration knew exactly who had done it. Was that why?

No. On the day of Sept. 11, then the day or two following, we had a very open mind. CIA and FBI were asked, "See if it's Hezbollah. See if it's Hamas. Don't assume it's Al Qaeda. Don't just assume it's Al Qaeda." Frankly, there was absolutely not a shred of evidence that it was anybody else. The evidence that it was Al Qaeda began just to be massive within days after the attack.

A massive body of evidence against al kada huh?? Is that in his book, cause I haven't seen it anywhere.

8. I just finished Clarke's book. Have you read it?
Your sources suck. The "Center for Security Policy" is a bullshit right wing "Peaceactivistsareantiamericangodlesscommieterrorist" page. Spread your lies somewhere else.
