Is another 9/11 coming soon ?

I was just reading the article about Henry Waxman and how vigorous his investigation will be. Then my thoughts wandered to how the criminals are going to deal with this. Aha ! Another 9/11 ! I hope this does not happen. Is there any chance in hell LIHOP or MIHOP could happen again, say later this month or early in January ?

3. Don't see where they benefit now.

Before the election and the dynamics would have been completely different. I think the timing, before a new Congress is installed, would be suspect and don't forget Rummy isn't in control of the Pentagon. Who'd risk their personal hides to pull off an event for this loser administration?

Another attack would surely be the end for this administration.

6. Once the dems start controlling things . . .

. . . and start bringing some semblance of normalcy to this crazy country would be my guess for another attack. Probably closer to the 08 elections so the pukes can blame it all on us.

7. Exactly.

9/11, then Katrina, then another attack spells incompetance. If Bush had brains, he would have fought for civil liberties a little more instead of powers, then if another attack came he could say its worth some risks to preserve our freedoms. But now, after torture, after grabbing all these powers, he would look like a complete assclown.

China's making noise about not buying our debt, the middle east is considering pricing oil in euros, and our housing bubble is in mid-burst. Most of the leading economic indicators are pointing toward a major recession. All it would take is a little push from the fed and the US economy will go over a cliff.

Then the Dems will have to deal with the bread lines instead of investigating the rethugs.

They were starting to look at the "Energy Task Force".
They were starting to look at a lot of things.

On 9/11/2001, all investigation ceased.

...to see if they'll issue a "new" .pdf document into which they'll write about how much more billions they'll be able to loot after they'll get a "new" 911 (since the one they issued before read how much they wanted thousands of American citizens to die in what they called their new Pearl Harbor which, obviously, they needed to sort of justify all their past and present crimes and their subsequent lootings)??

In the middle 1800's they just kept at it and dragged it in to the 1900's and why should it be different. There are always people who have no power and see terror as a way to get it. It can and has been for many different ways to have some power or for different reasons. That English is bad. Sorry
