I seldom post at DU at all, but especially in this shark pit of a forum. However, I thought I'd share this just in case there are eyes that need to see it. It is useless to ask me any questions, I'm as clueless as anyone. I'm not saying it is authentic or isn't, or whether it means anything or not. I have no idea.
But just in case . . .
The email was forwarded to me and I'm not going to say from whom. The way it was structured didn't make complete sense -- as if there were pieces of a dialogue that had been omitted. So far as I can make out, first there is this part:
Don't know what's going on, but my wife and I saw something very unusual for here a little while ago. We saw a B-52 loaded with missiles being refueled over Eastern TN. Not only was it being refueled but was below 30000 ft. Headed SSW over Greene County. Anyone have any ideas. I saw it and thought of the nuclear armed B-52 that was found a while back. This would be a way to bypass the usual stops in route to the middle east. Hate to say it, but it looks like maybe Mr. Chaney is trying to start another war. That after bankrupting us with the two current ones.
But above that was the following, as if in reply to a question regarding whether or not this information can be shared:
You can send it, with my name and e-mail. I think this has to get out. After all quite a few Air Force people gave up their carriers to prevent nuclear weapons from being used a while back. A few even gave their life from what my sources told me. However I can't quote them.
These planes were not the usual dote flying over in the sky, they were below 20,000 ft. so I could see the refueling boom and the missiles hanging from the wings. Never have seen a refueling operation that low. Air Force always conducts refueling operations between 30,000 and 40,000 ft. I could almost read the lettering and numbers on the aircraft they were so low. Trying to hide something.
Now, although the email does contain the name and email address of this person, I feel uncomfortable including them in a forum post. I suppose if anyone really wants them, they can PM me. There is a bit more but I'm still not sure whether to make that public.
In any case, for what it is worth, which may be nothing. Or not.
