Another Flight 93 Contradiction -- human cremation without burning
http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A56110-2002May8
As coroner, responsible for returning human remains, Miller has been forced to share with the families information that is unimaginable. As he clinically recounts to them, holding back very few details, the 33 passengers, seven crew and four hijackers together weighed roughly 7,000 pounds. They were essentially cremated together upon impact. Hundreds of searchers who climbed the hemlocks and combed the woods for weeks were able to find about 1,500 mostly scorched samples of human tissue totaling less than 600 pounds, or about 8 percent of the total.

The plane “went in the ground so fast it didn’t have a chance to burn,” says Jim.

Cremation without burning-- another flight 93 contradiction, and another 9/11 first.

1. Yay! More cherry picked quotes!
Man... You missed one though:

"Jim points to a grove of hemlocks behind the field and explains that the impact “burned about an acre of those trees.” From this proximity, it’s obvious that the lower parts of the trees in front are charred."

And who the heck is this Jim anyway? Why he is Jim Svonavec. Where was Jim on 9/11? Lets see here... ah, another thing omitted:

"Sally explains that she and Jim were in Hilton Head, South Carolina, on September 11, 2001, just beginning an overdue vacation."

So... Why would Jim's word mean anything? oop's... more omitted info:

"Because of their familiarity with the property, the Svonavecs were asked to work with the F.B.I. on recovery efforts. “We hired some extra people and worked one long shift, seven days a week,” says Jim, a former federal mining inspector."

Ahhh, I see, the family business helped with the excavation.

Context makes some things clearer. Oh... Perhaps you should also find out how the word "essentially" is commonly used.

6. so what?
the whole scene is a mess of contradictions.

Jim contradicts himself, so it only helps to prove my point.

How do you think they meant "essentially" here?

7. Are you serious?
Really? You think cherry picked quotes will help you prove anything? Are you honestly unaware of the deceptive nature of using cherry picked quotes? How dishonest it is?

Sigh... You know Spooked, for one that claims to know the "truth", you have a very strange way of presenting it.

8. do you suppose we can just let this thread lie?
I certainly agree with your comments. I'm just saying that going forward, of all of spooked's threads, this just might be the one that I least want to see kicked -- not that we can stop him from doing it. The signal-to-macabre ratio approaches or attains an all-time low. (No, I don't think spooked thinks it is possible to 'cherry pick' quotations from what he construes as The Official Story.)

20. I don't see the problem with the quotes
It's not like I took them out of context. Show me how it was "dishonest" to use these quotes.

The point is that there is a contradiction.

As far as "Jim" being away from the site on 9/11, what the hell difference does that make?

35. There is no "contradiction" and you certainly did yank those quotes completely out of context.
One person, who not even on the scene, making one off-handed comment about the airliner's black box not burning "contradicts" nothing as regards the remains of the people killed that day, in that field.

Though I am loathe to kick this OP, with its morbid content and repulsive implications, this needed to be pointed out.

2. BEST POST YET, Spooked!!!!
"Essentially cremated".
Do you know what that means?
I know you don't, but your postings always give me a good chuckle.
This one, however, is classic and huge laughs!
Keep digging Spooked...you're almost there.

3. Since the human body is about 75% liquid, I imagine most of the remains seeped into the ground.
Plane crashes where there is significant loss of life are routinely designated as hazardous waste sites requiring quarantine and a cleanup.

9. Glad to see you're at least admitting that 600 lbs of human remains were found...
which is pretty amazing, considering you don't even think a plane crashed.

So, when are you making the trip to Shanksville?

600 pounds of human remains?

No problem.

Like most folks, I've easily got that much just sitting in my garage.

visitors to the memorial are kept far away from the actual crash site.

Your research would involve more than browsing the interwebs.

Get off your ass, travel to PA, talk to the folks that were involved.

31. Why don't you call and ask?
Edited on Wed Apr-07-10 09:08 AM by jberryhill
Tell them you are a researcher.

You know, it never hurts to ask.

Same deal with, say, Stonehenge. During regular visiting hours people are kept away from the stones because of too many souvenir collectors and other damage to the site. But you can request access at off hours, especially around important solar days, and so forth.

Get a camera, make a documentary.

Good golly, for someone who wants others to "think outside the box" you certainly do act like you are easily controlled.

ASK.

The worst that can happen is they either say no, or tell you exactly what you need to do to qualify for unrestricted access.

Are you really this incurious when it comes to real life issues, as opposed to your fantasy crusades?

29. Very strange
You believe the entire crash site was faked, why for some reason you think they would need a restricted area.

If it's all a fake, set up in just a short period, why after 8 plus years would there be a a restricted area?
