Video: CBS Ch 2 News reports on 2 men caught with explosives at George Wash. Bridge on 9/11
The initial report of the arrests of two suspects caught with a "truck load of explosives" at the GW Bridge also indicated that the authorities believed the two men were terrorists intent on blowing up the GW Bridge on 9/11, but as far as I know, we never heard any follow up afterwards in the mainstream media as to what happened to the suspects or any information as to whether or not they were part of the 9/11 conspiracy involving the Muslim hijackers.

One theory of the bombing of the towers is that after the planes hit and pandemonium ensued, trucks laden with explosives were driven into the parking garages.

Of course that would take suicide bombers to do such a thing.
Who could ever imagine such a thing?

The one tower's top was leaning over and then the bottom fell out.

The other two went straight down because the bottoms were blown away.

The videos don't lie.

Saw a pic of ground zero the other day for the first time. Building across the street was blackened up 10 stories and the glass was blown out. Sign of a street level explosion.

If it were obvious from the videos that the Twin Towers collapsed from the bottom, wouldn't it be easier and more helpful to prove that point than to cuss you out a lot? :shrug:

It depends on whether the bombs were on a timer, or there was a button to push, or wired to be remotely detonated.

Surely the drivers knew that if caught they were dead, or they may not have known the time the bombs were to blow, so they would have most certainly been of the mind to be aware of possibly committing suicide.

Imagine driving a bomb laden truck into the towers, hoping you would get past security and knowing the buildings were coming down.

Could you imagine taking on such a task?

If it was part of the conspiracy and they chickened out and were discovered, certainly being that it didn't follow the OCT, such a thing would have to be covered up. But like I say, I remember the report that day, along with the report of a bunch across the river who were reported to police as having a celebration as the towers exploded. It looks like just another example of half-remembered factoids repurposed as revelations.

I tend to cut people some slack for whatever they remember of 9/11 news reports, because a lot of the reporting was seriously messed up, and a lot of us were pretty stressed out anyway. That isn't to say that I have any patience for people who try to pin the attacks on the Israelis. (ETA: As I remember or misremember it, there were some early reports about celebrating men, which didn't refer to nationality.)
