Alleged photo of aircraft engine NOT from a 767

Does anybody know an aircraft mechanic who can definitively identify the type on aircraft engine shown in this photo? The photo certainly appears to be authentic. It appears to be a photo of an aircraft engine taken near the World Trade Center on September 11. By some accounts this is a CFM56 aircraft engine, which is reportedly NEVER used to power 767s, the type of aircraft the government alleges crashed into the towers. This seems a simple enough matter to resolve. If any of the network news shows has the balls to get an aircraft mechanic to go on the record about it, that is...
