...has anyone within this forum been able,in any way to duplicate a 110 story collapse within a building footprint? Surely the technology is available. Can any poster here show me a convincing model of "pancaking"? I've followed here for almost a year while posters argued free fall speeds and disintegrating concrete...I find the arguments of JaneDoe2 pretty convincing.If she is wrong,convince me...most recently I have seen videos of the failure of poor controlled demolition to take a tower down in the Dakotas....If buildings drop easily, please prove it....

You would think they would get bored of coming here, yet they don't seem to mind endlessly rebutting the idea that only controlled demolition could have brought down the towers.

1. How much did the portions of the WTCs above the impact zone weigh?

2.In what direction does gravity work?

3. What horizontal forces were acting on the portions of the WTC that were falling? What was their magnitude compared to the force of gravity?

4. Do you think that the top of the towers could tilt 200 feet sideways without the entire structure falling apart?

The answers to these questions is the answer to how the WTC towers fell within their footprints.

So the failure of one demolition proves the successful demolition of the WTC? I can certainly see the logic in that! :eyes:

the WTC did do damage to building around it, the WFC wintergarden to give one example. so the WTC collapses werent QUITE in their own footprints.

but I think the CT argument (and I could be wrong - there are so many of them) is that the towers would have toppled over with significant horizontal motion and with the debris oriented in one direction.

I think the building didn't fall?
