The administration had credible reports that hijacking planes and flying them into buildings was a real threat. They chose to ignore that threat. The holes you speak of are the result of two basic things:

1) Inefficiencies in the system that created huge problems when a real crisis was faced, and

2) the administration scrambling to deny any incompetence.

they continued to ignore it. This was a deliberate response. Everyone in the top command stood down. Bush, Cheney, Myers, Rumsfeld, Tenet, and the rest, not a single one of them responded appropriately until after the Pentagon was hit. It's almost like they were waiting for the attack to finish before they reacted to it? I don't think we have to prove whether or not planes flew into buildings or if the WTC was a controlled demolition or any of the rest of it. We just need to look at how Bush and his top people responded between the hours of 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM on Tues Sept 11, 2001 to prove that at the least 9-11 is a LIHOP event.

Besides, I'm not sure $50 mil will do it. Chances are anyone with such evidence would be guilty of treason, murder and conspiracy. But more importantly, that kind of evidence is worth MUCH MORE than cash as black mail and influence. Such information could bring down the entire US government. Might be the only thing keeping oneself and one's family alive.

what good is 50 million from death row? also, there are probably people who were involved in part of the process who have put the pieces together, but their information would not prove anything and they would incriminate themselves and probably lose their job and not get the money anyway. So this is just propagannda, and "they" will say "see? no conspiracy."
