idea: war powers bring great power, great power brings great wealth

step one: treason
unlawful manipulation of registration, access, accuracy, governance of votes in a very important state (it helps when you have a well placed brother)

step two: theft
get congress to pass insane spending bills that pay private companies HUGE cost-plus contracts, the cost of these outlays get financed thru public debt (you can even make money on that end, too)

step three: power
fail (purposely) @ protecting this country, blame your own created bogeyMEN (osama and saddam), manipulate the bad intel, suppress the good intel, and lie us into an illegal war and ya got your 'elevated' privileges right there

step four: keeping it
listen in on everything, everyone (under the pretext of FEAR: 911, osama, 911, the september 11th, 911, saddam, 911)
get recipes, get the latest local gossip, see timmy’s pictures at summer camp, learn that susie is cheating on bobbie; also, you could get business moves, insider information, know not only when the next shoe gets dropped, but also where, get all your vulture-capitalists in the 'free, unregulated market' to invest on some pretty good tips, and all this 'investment income' is now even taxed less to boot, more to keep, so you have more to 'donate' to help certain people running for congress to be elected (process called being dieboldéd), to keep them passing insane laws that force us to keep raising the debt ceiling to keep the theft going to make more fucking money, oh, and lets pass some draconian, yet patriotic-sounding laws that emasculate the one thing we as americans have over them, the constitution and the laws that bind them to us, and us to that 'goddamned piece of paper'

while our troops are dying in someplace the fucking chickenhawks never were, a fucking battle zone, "bring it on", you stupid motherfucker
