What do we know about the tenants in the WTC?

I'm curious as to which tenants were in the WTC, in particular some of the tenants at the top (Cantor Fitzgerald), but any other tenants that may have raised a 'red flag'. I am particularly wondering if those tenants may have ticked somebody off, or what they were up to pre-9/11.

Unfortunately it is so difficult to find news stories on the 'net that pre-date 9/11. This is a big project that a group of people could undertake, perhaps.

That is a good start. I want to look at space occupied, floor level, and loss.

I also need to know approximately what floors were directly hit by the planes - think I'll look that up now.,

Of particular interest to me are Cantor Fitzgerald, Morgan Stanley, AON (didn't realize they were above the impact zone in the south tower) and the numerous law firms.

Impact zones: South Tower 78th-84th floor
North Tower: 92nd-98th floor
