If 911 was lihop with assistance, and Moussaoui gets the death penalty (because people allegedly died from his withholding of knowledge of the terrorist plan) -- what might be some ramifications?

It should set an interesting precedent. If Bushco are ever discovered to have knowledge that could have prevented a single death, i guess it would make them eligible for the death penalty as well.

As someone who is against the death penalty, I could see myself bending a bit on this one.

and the phony sounding trial. What they are charging Moussaoui with is exactly what it sounds like Bush & Co are guilty of at the very least. Moussaoui doesn't even seem to be fully mentally competent. His mother said he was under the influence of something. It was alleged that MSNBC said he was wearing a "stun belt" so you can imagine what has been going on. How can Americans be dumb enough to fall for this ?
If we had a dependable justice system then the ramifications of might mean that Bush would be held accountable for not doing anything to stop 9-11, but that will not happen because this country has become a joke where there is no truth and citizens are not entitled to information about their own government.
