How many terrorist attacks does this make?

I'm in a debate with a moran, and he's bragging that there haven't been any terrorist attacks since 9/11. (Yeah, I know.)

Anybody have a list handy of terrorist attacks, here and abroad, in the last 2 years?

3. Attacks in Turkey

There were a series of attacks a few months ago in Turkey. Also there have been at least a couple of attacks in Saudi Arabia including one at a housing complex.

Bali
Turkey (Two attacks, one synagogue, and a British bank)
Spain just the other day.
Morocco
Attack on the Italian base in Iraq (was AQ or locals open for debate)
Attack on the Poles, same thing
Oh an attack on NATO troops in Afghanistan.
The three attempts on Musharaff.

Pretty good for a weakened organization huh?

Now the Moran is correct insofar as there have not been any attacks in the US... at least officially

The Attack on the El Al ticketing at LAX, killed I think 15.

And attempts....

Terrorists are killing our soldiers in Iraq every day. Bush created a haven for them smack in the center of the Middle East, and provided a buffet of victims.

11. NO. Turns out Frist is a Republican.

That was meant strictly for its propagandistic value.

btw- Yes, he's the same Frist whose family is well-known for its love of corporate welfare, corporate socialism, and medicare fraud. Though Senator Frist himself is said to have more of an affinity for cats.

A topic on which Abe and I fully agree: Senator Frist - corporate healthcare debutante and med-school overachieving cat-killer.

My misfortune is that Senator Frist is my Senator, he and Lamar! Alexander. I don't even bother writing those two - all I ever get back are "Here are the noblest sounding reasons we're going to do what we want to do anyway" form letters from them both. At least my Representative is a Democrat.

btw - Word on the street is that Frist will be the Republican nominee in 2008. The cat-killer thing is not going to sink him, but the HCA scandals might. Keep your fingers crossed.
