did anyone else think bush did worse this time?
the first hour was horrific! he was yelling and whining and interrupting the moderator. they must have been yelling in his earpiece to calm the hell down because the last half hour was different, he wasn't yelling, just lying and rambling.

2. The yelling got to me
I thought he looked even less presidential than last time... he looked like a whiny child.

3. I'm glad someone created this topic
I thought it was clear that Bush was worse. And I'm someone who admitted that Edwards just edged out a victory against Dick "Mr. Potter" Cheney.

5. I do!
Bush had a meldown over the coalition. Instead of his head-tilt-pursed-lips, at times he looked like he'd had 3 beers. He was yelling. Basically called the woman who asked about the 3 mistakes a shill.

7. Most definitely.
Bush just stunk. He was giving his right-wing "rally the base" talking points for every question. The problem with that? This debate was supposed to be about appealing to the undecideds. You know, the ones who don't buy into either the conservative or liberal agendas.

Team Bush badly screwed up, IMHO. Of course I'm glad they did. :)

8. Kennedy?
WTF? You were debating John Kerry dumb ass. Bush did what he had to do. People want to believe his BS then fine. None of his answers make sense. Kerry blew the 87 billion question again! Talk about the presidents threatened veto for christ sakes!

15. Yes, I echo your analysis ...
My favorite Bush-Screw-Up was when he wouldn't listen to Charlie Gibson's follow-up question because he was in such a lather to answer Kerry's original SLAM DUNK! Way to go Team Kerry!!!

Yeah he did better. but I agree the yelling was not effective to stopping the momentum and I don't think he sold people on Kerry's liberalism

18. when * snapped at Gibson
he lost the dbate, and the election too. I coudn't believe what I saw :wow: and Kerry was so silky smooth and warm, the audience seemed to be much more open and welcoming to him than *!

not sure he knows the difference between looking annoyed vs. confident.

25. I thought he was terrible
Stalking the stage like a meth addict, waving his arms and shouting at the audience...he looked like a deranged nut, a complete madman.

Kerry, in contrast, didn't whine, was calm and didn't shout, and he didn't scurry around wildly waving and pointing.

I think Bush was worse this time...in the first debate he looked incompetent, in this one he looked incompetent AND nutty.

26. MUCH worse than debate #1
About the best you could say was that he kept the smirking and scowling under control, but that's totally superficial. On the issues, he stank out loud.
