If the debate was a 12 round prizefight, how would you score it?

Me:

Kerry - unanimous decision - went the full 12.

Bush penalized 1 point in Round 7 for going after referee (moderator).

Early-on, Bush deducted one point for attacking the ref.

I'd call the "abortion round," which includes the stem cell research discussion, a draw, partly because Kerry stuttered and partly because the issue is one of those for which the true believers will not be swayed one way or the other.

Shrub also mellowed a bit near the end, and I think it was partly due to Kerry making a joke. It made Bush smile, and he was calmer after that. The "abortion round" came directly afterward.

I also call the closing remarks a draw, mostly because Bush got the last word.

So, in terms of rounds, 10 for Kerry, 2 a draw.

TKO.

Kerry pummelled Dub like a surgeon, while Dub did his level best to make himself come off as the hitting-below-the-belt villain. Didn't work. Kerry's 2-for-2, and it would really take a minor miracle for Dub to make any sort of a legit comeback.

We've just gotta get 'em to the polls now, folks!:bounce:

Talked over Charlie Gibson, and looked like his head was ready to explode, I'd say 9-1 Kerry.

Factoring in Smirk's petulent rage which is what he does when he does not like contrary opinions, which is why his administration is an unmittigated disaster and in tatters, which is why we are in a God Forsaken War....Smirk KNOCKED HIMSELF OUT. LOL.
