Democratic Party must raise $5 million online by midnight tonight

Tonight is the night. Just hours from now, John Kerry will take the stage and face George Bush in the second presidential debate. Just an hour and a half after the debate ends, another critical fundraising deadline arrives -- after which Democratic Party officials will sit down to figure out the advertising strategy for the rest of the month.

In order to make decisions based on strategy and not financial constraints, the Democratic Party must raise $5 million online by midnight tonight. We are almost there -- help put us over the top.

Now is the time to step up and make sure we have all the resources the Democratic Party needs to beat George Bush and the Republicans. Election Day is less than four weeks away.
