4. Yes -- and that's why the fight is just beginning
The Republican party will cease to be as much a party as a dangerous political movement.

5. It makes a person wonder about the intelligence of Americans
But I'm not nearly as disturbed by it if 57% think Kerry is a better choice.

6. Yes
It's unbelievable....they are losing their jobs, their healthcare
and the country is in great danger due to the Iraq debackle and lack
of true homeland security.

I think they have put something into the genetically modified foods
and made the pod people...

either that or we can explain it the same way Nazism took over Germany.

Severe partisanship I guess, and the football mentality, and GO TEAM.

But beyond that I don't get it.

8. Bush is God's Own President
He will vanquish the evil-doers and triumph over the enemy. He will save the nation from liberals and the internets. He will not sit still for a Supreme Court bent on reinstituting slavery.

15. Just some off-the-cuff statistics
25 percent of fundies and 31 percent of Evangelicals believe that the LITERAL events prophesized in Revelations will take place within their lifetime. There are about 50-60 million of these people -- that means anywhere from 15-20 million people in this country are FUCKING DELUSIONAL. And they are probably the largest voting demographic after sex and race, in the country -- and they are very, very organized and zealous about participating in the political process.

16. makes me want to get the fuck out of this country
the strong majority of americans are ignorant assholes. that includes a significantly smaller, but by no means negligible portion of kerry voters as well.

and none of these people are really going to change, and none of these people are going to go away.

21. And here's the brilliant guy they think won tonite..
"Make The Pie Higher" by George W. Bush

This is a poem made up entirely of actual quotes from George W. Bush. The quotes have been arranged only for aesthetic purposes by Washington Post writer Richard Thompson.

MAKE THE PIE HIGHER
by George W. Bush

I think we all agree, the past is over.
This is still a dangerous world.
It's a world of madmen and uncertainty
and potential mental losses.

Rarely is the question asked
Is our children learning?
Will the highways of the Internet become more few?

How many hands have I shacked?
They misunderestimate me.
I am a pitbull on the pantleg of opportunity.

I know that the human being and the fish can coexist.
Families is where our nation finds hope, where
our wings take dream.

Put food on your family!
Knock down the tollbooth!
Vulcanize Society!
Make the pie higher! Make the pie higher!

18. For now it frightens me...
But after President Kerry is elected, many of those idiots will eventually see what we see.

Obviously, some of them will always be brain dead freepers; but we can't do anything about them but let them live in their dreamworlds.

20. Yes, and I fear a civil war is in the offing
when BushCo goes down for the count.

Certainly only a small percentage of the foaming-at-the-mouth chimp enablers would go that far but with the terra-ists example in front of them, I think there is a real chance for underground violence.

Maybe that's why the Assault Weapons ban was allowed to lapse.

Those Bushoids! Always thinking ahead.

Damn creepy, it is.

But with half not voting, and only maybe 30-40% of his vote being real hardcore, maybe what...15-20% of total population is that crazy?

26. Worries me to no end
Its the damn constant propaganda these people are subjected too I guess. If the corporate media can sell Bush to the American people, they can sell them anything. Listening to some of these C-span callers makes me want to puke. If Bush wins I'm going to get out of this country before they start sending liberals to the freedom camps.

29. Rational? WTH?
There is nothing rational about why some people voted for bush and will vote for him again. Some actually vote against their own interests in certain areas (like economic interests) just to secure their social agenda in the white house.
