Kerry handled Bush's aggressiveness perfectly....
He attacked Bush very effectively but did it in a more civil and less shrill manner than that exhibited by Woody Bush. I think a lot of "moderate" Americans will take note of that fact. People do not like aggressive screamers. I think Bush lost votes last night. Not only the above "moderates", but Bush lost many of thewomen voters, with his positions on a couple of issues, in my opinion. Although he appeared to do much better than in the first debate, Bush lost more than than he won in last night's debate.

1. I thought the tone of his voice was high pitched and loud , as well
as whiny and aggressive.

2. * was constantly
leaning forward with his head and upper torso. My gut reaction to that body language said "bully". An attitude of see it my way or I'll get in your face till you do.

3. I think so too. shrubby looked petulant and peevish. The differences
in policy are at last finally starting to emerge clearly, and dumbya's are SCARY.

5. Great quote from the Salon blog:
"What is it about President Bush that makes him confuse a resolute tone with a screechy one? For 90-minutes plus, Bush hunched his shoulders and delivered a steady stream of high-pitched hectoring. His supporters always go on about Bush’s firm convictions. But for a man who supposedly possesses such deep belief, he sounds awfully pleading and uncertain.

"Bush’s nagging tone of voice is all the more irritating, because it sounds as if he’s trying to explain something obvious to a simpleton. But the simplest person in the room is usually him."
