I thought Kerry kicked ass last night
Kerry was strong and energetic all night. At the post-debate rally, he whipped up the crowd with his passioned delivery. This is not the John Kerry of one year ago. He's connecting with the people, in a way that Gore was never quite able to do.

This is not even going to be close if we work our hearts out for the next three weeks.

John Kerry said last night at the post debate rally (paraphrasing) that we are in the fight of our lives, that the future of our country and our freedom is at stake.

He gets it. If you fight for John Kerry for three and a half weeks, he'll fight for four years against the Republican machine that wants to silence you.

6. Ummm what about Carter, and LBJ, JFK
The only Democrat since Roosevelt to win re-election was Clinton. But I agree we should be thinking eight years at a minimum.

2. I agree
I can't imagine how anyone thinks this was a tie.

Bush was a petulant, whiny, angry little man who couldn't come up with coherent answers to half the questions.

3. I'm sick of negative threads getting kicked and
positive threads dropping off the face of Bush's flat earth.

4. Me too, Kerry kicked ass and got tremendous exposure at the same time.
This is how JFK beat Nixon.....The Nation learned how this Senator from Lib Mass was and decided ever so closely to TRUST him over the Nixon back in 60.

This is turning out to be a repeat.

I actually cried at the end of this debate. I told my husband, "He HAS to win, he just HAS to." We have to end this nightmare!

7. I agree
I watched the debate 3 times.

Kerry looked presidential and had his facts straight.

Bush was very angry and at moments couldn't behave himself.

He also looked mean. Kerry said "I pledge I will no raise your taxes" and Bush replied "Don't trust him - He will raise your taxes"

I laughed my ass off big time.
