Karl Rove: 'We've Got a Couple of Surprises' for Kerry

President Bush's top political adviser, Karl Rove, said Wednesday that the Bush-Cheney campaign is planning some October "surprises" for challengers John Kerry and John Edwards.

"We've got a couple of surprises that we intend to spring," Rove told ABC radio host Sean Hannity while explaining that he intends to wage an aggressive campaign no matter what the polls show.

"It's 34 days and that's a long time in politics, and when you get complacent you lose," the top White House adviser said.

"We've got to stay on the offense. We've got to continue to press the battle onto the turf that they won in 2000: the Pennsylvanias, the Michigans and the Wisconsins and Iowas and Minnesotas and New Mexicos and Oregons.

now we're 24 days away, still nothing, but be wary. Rove will do something, I hope we have something very damaging on Bush as well.

I will be very cold-hearted towards the people of this nation if they fall for any of Rove's bullshit and "re"-elect that fool.

If we have a second Bush term I will quickly fall into compassion fatigue for the American people.

Which mentioned (I'm sure just coincidentally, as this administration would never ever play politics with national security) schools in Michigan, New Mexico, and Oregon. The news shows yesterday here in Oregon were all about showing families scared to take their kids to school, and kids talking about being blown up by terrorists. It was absolutely pathetic.

And now today comes the "news" that there isn't a threat brewing against America's schools, and there's no evidence that kids anywhere in America are in any greater danger from terrorism than they are from, say, reinstatement of the draft.

So one of their little surprises has apparently gone awry.

the other posts? They are planning to release a special attacking Kerry and the war, and they are planning to attack Edwards. So, where are our attacks? Are we just going to take the punches?

What exactly are they going to be attacking Edwards with? I have not heard anything asbout this.
