Another debate poll taken down 'cause Kerry was leading?

I just got an email asking me to vote at this Lafayette Advertiser web site:

http://www.acadiananow.com/

The writer said they took down the first poll because Kerry was leading. If so, we need to vote on this second poll. Bush currently has a 49-44 lead.

Subject: Did you all really delete a poll because Kerry was ahead?

This is the internet rumor, that the media is now deleting votes from polls that show Kerry won the last debate, and that your organization is taking part in this.

Is that true? I'm finding that hard to believe, I'm confused on this.
