Edwards on Meet the Press - Now
Timmy keeps asking him why he voted to go to war against Saddam.

Edwards - how many times do I have to say the same thing. I voted for the resolution, not for Bush to make the mess that he has made over there.

1. I'd like for him to say
I voted for the resolution because I was under the impression that Bush was an honest, sensible man. I was wrong on both counts.

2. That's exactly what he needed
to say. And he didn't. I think Edward's is stumbling this morning.

10. Question about his attendence?
His answer could have been better-sounded like an excuse. Otherwise he was fine.

13. Has Tim ever made that comment to a guest before?
It was downright creepy.

9. It definitely was a strange thing to say
not the sentiment but the wording.

5. I turned that on towards the end but I thought Edwards
came off strong and resolute. The 5 trillion $$$ surplus that we had is now a 3 trillion $$$ deficit!

Edwards voted for the IWR to give the president(sic) the power to force sadam's hand..bush inc didn't have a plan to win the peace or keep our soldiers safe.

I thought he explained everything well and timmy seemed to be giving John Edwards the respect that he should have.

14. Grrr.
Didn't mention voter fraud and boycotts in the Afghan election. I don't think he should have surrenderred that point.
