Stop watching Cable News!!!
Let's get real here. The majority of people who watch cable news are 30+ white males. The ones who watch the cable poli-talk shows are 30+ white males who have a stick up there butt for one candidate or the other.

We need to start educating ourselves by talking to real people. Not watching these ridiculous cable shows.

The undecideds are watching sports shows, Martha Stewart, Oprah and Ellen or they are outside mowing there lawn or playing with there kids.

I have come to the conclusion that if I over-expose myself to the 'Pundit Speak' or 'The Rhetoric of the Cult Like Devotees'
I come across as a freak and totally turn of the undecideds I might be talking to.

So, Stop Watching Cable News...start asking questions, do your own research...share the knowledge. :hi:

1. absolutley - there's no point
other than to find out what some small slice of the viewing public is seeing out there, there's no need to watch cable news. Cable news does help drive the news agenda in print and broadcast, so from that perspective you could say it is important to keep them as honest as possible. But in general, I have stopped watching cable news. Not worth the hearburn.

2. Well then ...
If you are going to stop watching be sure its not a passive action.

Write the news providers. Make your voice loud and clear in other mediums about your action and why you did so.

Just stopping the fix is not going to have as much impact as making it an active campaign.

I also think that strong vocal and financial support for INDY media in general is a great way to counter MiniTruth TV.
