THE question, if the "Bulge" isn't a wireless device.......
Why don't Bush's aids just say what it actually was? All they had to do was say, "Oh, it's a back brace." Or, "For the President's safety, we had him wear a flak jacket."

I mean, it's obvious he's got something in there. They could have easilly put an end to the matter.

4. Flak Jacket Gap
If the Bushies claim that Chimp was wearing a flak jacket to both debates for "security purposes" it will beg the question as to why Kerry wasn't wearing one too. I can't think of any kind of back brace that would be visible in the mid back either. I think the Bushies are just trying to hope that the left is conspiracy mongering and Elvis is driving all this speculation and that nobody in the mainstream media dares ask the Bushies to explain the bulge. The Bushies can't explain the bulge.

5. One more time, it is a extra pair of underpants.
You know when you're getting dressed and you're
changing underpants and somehow your old underpants
get tangled up in your fresh clothes and then you're
walking around and you got a bump in your clothes and
you reach in and pull it out and it's your old dirty
underpants? Then it got shaped by his shoulderblades
into a box shape. The "wire" shape coming up could be
the elastic of the underpants that exploded from the
stage lights and flew up over his shoulder. I think this
is better than anything the WH has said and they should
come clean about it, but won't for the obvious reason.

6. makes me think of Dr. Sanjay Gupta's special on CNN
about the measures that presidents take to conceal their health problems...going back to FDR, Kennedy etc.

Anyone think that Bush has some sort of physical ailment that he may be hiding. I mean, he's skipping his annual physical this year...and we know he's been crashing on his bike (and segway) lately!

10. I think it's just the cut of his coat. I've seen them pull into
strange shapes as people move. They don't look as bad live, because you can see the motion and see that under some circumstances (such as arms down) there is no fold, but when he raises his hands, it pulls across his back and sometimes a wrinkle or fold appears.

Much ado about nothing.
