Debate 3: Let's Remember also to delay-flood the web
Since it seems that many sites now trash the first wave of votes because they are biased (unless they are in favor of Chimpy).

1. Exactly!!
Wouldn't it be great to see the response of the rest of the viewers minus ALL of our input?

Then add our input later on?

2. Yes, perhaps it would be good to wait a little, then hit them...

3. Cute idea, but freepers won't go along!
There's really no way the online polls will mean much the night of the debate. Both sides try to flood the polls. Listen to the debates, and you should know who did well and who didn't. It's fun to watch what the spinners day and criticize them.

4. Nope, you got to
You got to hit those polls hard right after they come up. It's part of the spin and when people click on the results some of them are easily swayed by it. So hit the polls and hit them hard, don't give them a victory that starts to snowball so fast that we can't catch it.

6. I agree with you, TA ... rapid response ... no surrender ... hell, CNN
had to try 3 times to get the numbers their way, and we all helped them fail ... RAPID RESPONSE is crucial to the first wave of impressions ...

10. Hit them twice!!
We need to rededicate ourselves and hit them both right after the debate and then the next morning after they reset them. Don't give them a chance to beat us either time.

11. I don't think the timing is the issue
The problem may be what their logs as showing as the referral page (ie, where the voter came from -- yes, webmasters can what website you're coming from). The best way I can think of to deal with that is to

1) Create a temporary folder in your bookmarks/favorites/whatever called "polls"

2) Right-click on the link to the poll to bring up the menu, and set the link as a bookmark in your polls folder

3) Go to some innocuous website, like Google, then click on your bookmark/favorite/whatever. Voila! Your referral page is now listed as Google (or whatever other site you chose).
