anti-Kerry flyers in PA

One of them says, "80% of our troops support *. Senator Kerry, support our troops."

The other makes reference to the "coalition of the coerced and the bribed," and lists all of our allies in the War on Terra, like Indonesia and Poland (can't forget Poland).

My brother (in Montgomery County) said they're on telephone and lamp posts everywhere he looks. Anyone know who's behind this?

On another (annoying) note, his K/E yard sign got stolen along route 113. I'm going to send him some DU tips on how to keep his new one safe. ;)

about proactive ways to protect your yard signs. One tip was coating it with Karo syrup--invisible, but very sticky. I'm trying to find the link.

5. Pennsylvania is ground zero of a major smear campaign

Even so, it is amazing to me see polls showing Kerry with big leads there. The 'pubs are goiong for broke there, leaning heavily on the swift vets/ and pro-life votes.

6. the Repugs use flyers here in the South to great effect

Jessie Helms was a master at it. The sliming that goes on in these flyers is beyond belief. And of course, none of them can be traced back to the candidate or his campaign, even though everyone knows where they come from.
