WOW! "the view" just mentioned the "bulge" under Bush jacket
Edited on Tue Oct-12-04 10:33 AM by devrc243
during the debates. Barbara Walters said that they have an ear piece in their ears listening to one of the producers and even stood up to show the "pack" on her back. She said bottom line, it's against the rules if he did and Meredith said he looks like a puppet if this is actually true. Star Jones said, "would we really want someone like that as President"...of course the young one--Elizabeth Hasselbeck--defended Bush saying it was a bullet proof vest:eyes: She obviously hasn't been listening to her WH talking points 'cause she would know that they have already said it wasn't a vest.

9. That very site shows a BOX on the back of Bush's jacket
The picture itself shows it. It's when Bush is bending over - things dont' "bunch up" on your back when you are bending over - but hard things stick out, the way this did.

GOP kool-aid must contain a healthy dose of visual-nerve-destorying methanol. Or maybe he had on the special glasses that allow him to see whatever he wants to see.

I thought it was a real tinfoil theory when I first heard it, but I'm becoming convinced . . . Bush is wired.

2. Maybe Elizabeth would like to go fight an oil war for Bush
It always amazes me how, no matter what he does, it is spun by some people.

3. OMG - I had it on in the other room...
Thanks for letting me know that it was discussed today. I was hoping someone would say something on this show. Of course, Elizabeth the Procreator said something in defense of Shrub. I can't stand her. I'm going to write her NOW.

5. He needs a bullet-proof vest
to be in a venue where everyone let inside was probably all but strip searched? Or are they worried about the Secret Service agents?

Disclaimer: I would NEVER advocate violence against my president or any other elected (or selected) official.

It just won't go away. A pesky little meme has been born thanks to Bush and BushCo's own ineptness.

BulgeGate - i like the ring of that.

13. And it is SO appropriate....
...Given that the weewee did not know enough to give a fast yank to his harness straps before he tumbled from his aircraft on the ill-advised carrier adventure.

He's fond of bulges when they benefit him, but the potato goes in the front, not the back.

14. He doesn't run anymore and he skipped his annual physical
I don't buy that he was wired for answers- he didn't know any! and even the feds have undetectable systems for that. AND body armor wouldn't have that kind of bulge. I'd sooner buy that it's a brace or a self medication system.

15. I wrote this:
Dear Elisabeth,
Regarding your comment concerning the "bulge" under Bush's suit: The White House had denied that it is a bulletproof vest. If you believe that he is not wired, how can you explain Bush's strange "let me finish" outburst in the middle of his debate response, when the moderator or a blinking light were not interrupting him? There is overwhelming evidence that he has been prompted in the past during numerous speeches. It is excusable during a speech, but not during a debate. That would be defined as cheating in my book. Sometimes, it is a good thing to keep one's mind open to all possibilities and not surrender to blind faith.
Congratulations on your pregnancy and I hope that your child will be able to grow up in a more peaceful world than we have today.
Sincerely, ...

17. Spinal curvature
more likely a corrective device for his apparent spinal curvature. He looks really hunched over when he's standing up. Perhaps he wasn't wearing the brace that day, but it still left an impression in the suit from before.

What's really amazing is that everyone understands that he's so dumb he might need a transmitter to answer simple questions about his policies. How can they keep pretending to take him seriously if they accept this? Can you imagine anyone accusing Tony Blair of having his answers read to him?

19. I e-mailed them about the WH statement
on the bullet proof vest (he wasen't wearing one) and gave them links to other stories that back up the theory that it IS a device used for remote prompting. We need to keep this in the news; Americans hate cheaters!

22. Under His Arm...
No one at the DU has explained why Bush would have the pack on his back and NOT under his arm pit where it could not be detected...

I must be honest...I simply can't imagine that the Bush people would be so stupid not to hide it better. I would love to think that Bush and company have done this...but, it just seems too stupid to have it in such an obvious place...even for the Bush people.

23. UNDER HIS FUCKING ARM PIT?
You obviously didn't see the one Barbara Walters had tucked in her skirt. The fucking thing is too big to go under the arm pit but would fit just perfect taped and strapped to one's back--ESPECIALLY with a suit jacket on. Bush knows he's been busted on this one, but he says--so what 'cause thinks he's above the law and he

freeped out about Kerry having a pen of mass distraction, that folks were examining that part of the video to begin with. Otherwise, no one would have ever noticed.
