Bush supporters have a personal agenda of their own...
They know that Bush was selected by the Supreme Court the last time and that he is not a duly elected president. They want very badly to have their vote counted as legitimate this time around. The ydo not want any doubt about who won. That is pushing them as much as anything to vote once again for Bush, even though he has been a dismal failure. They are vicarious failures themselves unless they can redeem themselves with a legitimate win...

1. That's a good point.
I do think that a lot of them support him still just because they can't admit they made a mistake. I wish they could just get over it, grow up, or at least console themselves with the fact that they were manipulated by Karl Rove, whom some consider some sort of an evil genius.

3. really?
I think you would be hard pressed to find any Bush 2004 supporters who feel he wasn't properly elected in 2000.

Of course they would like a commanding win but it has nothing to do with 2000. They are focused on the future raping of America.

4. I think you would find few that would "admit" he wasn't properly elected..
But in their hearts, I think it eats at them.

5. You must be talking about the "compassionate conservatives".
;)

I don't know...if this were eating at the Bush supporters, as you speculate, I would expect a lot more stuff to be eating at them too.
