Bush has destroyed his credibility as a negotiator with his rush to war in Iraq. Now, just like Arafat, he is not trusted by the very nations he needs to have at the table.
As many have stated, Arafat must step aside if the Palestinian position is to be represented, not because of the substance of his argument, but because of his LACK OF CREDIBILITY with the nations he must negotiate with. Bush now suffers from this same malady.
In order for the U.S. to be welcomed back to the World Table to negotiate for a hand in fixing this mess, Bush must go. Kerry can provide a fresh credibility and begin to heal the wounds caused by the malice and shortsightedness of the Bush Administration.
Please understand that this is just a comparison of credibility, not a statement on any position regarding the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. Please don't break out the flamethrowers.
