Re: *'s Electronic Device-- New Meme for folks
Haven't seen this discussed, so please excuse/delete if it's already been done.

The KEY issue for me with the whole "was he wired" brouhaha is not whether or not he was wired, but the fact that this story has legs, and that folks are willing to debate the issue from all sides.

The core issue here is-- many are willing to believe or at least debate the issue of whether the President of the United States was wired.

Think about it.

The frikking President of the frikking United States being....wired.

NO President should ever have to be wired.
Do we want a President in office who needs "extra help" in a debate?
More importantly-- do we want a President in office who has such a piss poor reputation that folks could openly debate whether or not he was wired.

Can we say lowered expectations?

So all of you w/ B/C acquaintances--if the debate comes up--let it go on for a bit-- and then hit them with this issue.

"Can you believe we are actually debating the "wiring" of a sitting President?" This story should have never seen the light of day (unless there was truth/suspcion of truth to it) :):):)

Let those who support the evil empire sit and squirm once they realize how far they have sunk in their estimation of their president.

2. Here is what Kerry should do tomorrow night.
He should open the debate with a comment that we need to take our coats off and roll-up our sleeves as we debate and tackle the important domestic issues tonight.

{Takes off coat and rolls up his sleeves}

Does anyone think that Bush would follow his lead?
