my letter to the Hardball staff
For the past two debates, it seems you had your minds made up before the
debates who would win. I simply could not beleive you folks called it a
slam dunk for Cheney and Bush in debate 2 and 3. The immediate polls
showed Kerry won round 3and Edwards won round 2. Not only that, but the
latest Gallup poll has Independents saying Kerry won 53% to 37%.

Chris, what are you going to do about your show becoming a talking point
echo for the GOP? Maybe it's time you started to worry less about being
an "insider" and more about being a good journalist. I have to tell you,
it seems you are more worried about your insider connections and cozying
up to the bigwigs than running an ethical political show.

For three debates, your post debate show has been out of touch with the
actual response towards the debate. After the first debate, you had no
idea who won, even though the polls showed Kerry with a gigantic
victory. The next debate you said Cheney far bested Edwards. The polls
and other pundits said otherwise. And in the third debate you said Bush
trounced Kerry, which AGAIN other pundits and polls indicated otherwise.
Even Fox's post debate show was more fair and balanced than your 3rd
post debate show. That's sad, Chris.

You folks are out of touch. Perhaps a more balanced panel would suit the show?

1. and the one I sent today...
Im hoping the Hardball post debate show acts like responsible
journalists this time. Maybe you guys can try to form an opinion *after* the debate instead of before it this time. Thanks.
